"I’m going out for a while (Y/N), Vic will be here so you aren’t alone." Your brother Kellin calls out to you as he walks out the door.

"Okay b-" The sound of door slamming behind him cuts you off. You grin and turn to Vic who is slouched in the chair next to you. You will get him back for leaving you on his only day off from tour.

"Hey vic, want to help me with something?" A small grin spreads across his lips as he looks at you.

"What is it, (Y\N)?"

"i want to pull a prank on my brother." you hold back the laugh rising in myour throat by the thought of Kellin’s reaction. Vic’s smile grows at least 3 sizes and even releasing a scoff and shaking his head.

"He’s going to kill me for this, you know that, right?"

"puhleease!" You pull your bottom lip over your upper lip and bat your eyes at him, looking him straight in his eyes with your hands clasped together.

"Fine. What are we going to do?"

You get up from where you were sitting and jog to your kitchen. You get on your knees in front of the cabinet under your metal sink and yank open the polished wood doors. reaching behind the pipes or your sink, you pull out a small, blue pale, and a strain of white string. You drop the string into the pale and dash to your room with the pale smacking against the side of your theigh as you run. You dig through the box of your childhood toys and pull out a fake rat and drop it into the bucket. Kellin is terrified of rats.You run back to Vic and smash down on the floor in front of him, coming out of no where and making him jump. You pull everything out and set them down.

"Okay, i need you to tie this rope to the handle of this bucket and fill it with water." You hold up the rat and Vic tries his very hardest to control his wild laughter. "Then, tie the rat to the end of the rope and set it on the ledge above the door." You instruct while pointing to the double-doored, front enterance.

"You are terrible, (Y\N.)" Vic smiles and does as you told.

A few hours later, you hear a familiar sound of Kellin’s car pulling into the drive. You put all of your might into holding in your laughter as you hear foot steps leading to the door and you and Vic throw yourselves behind the sofa.

The front door swings open, pushing the rat into kellin’s face.

"Holy shit!" he screams and pulls the rat so hard down, he is dripping from head to toe with water and the bucket just nearly missing his head.

He shakes a bit, but hears muffled giggles from behind the grey couch. He grabs the bucket and stomps to the kitchen, acting pissed. He filled the bucket to the rim with ice cold water and his feet squish under him as he walks to the living room and flings the water on both of you, making a perfect shot. As you stand up with Vic, you see kellin’s huge smile and hear his contagious laugh.

This song and the whole band has got me through so much. I honestly don’t know how I would have got through without them. So sad that Jesse had to leave. But I understand he has his reasons he will be missed that is for sure. Just wish I could have saw them before he left
